"Photos seemed a bit misleading"
It didn’t really look like the pictures to me. Maybe it was just the angle or lighting, but what I received felt different from what I was expecting.

"Doesn’t feel like the same FatFace anymore"
I used to really enjoy shopping at fatface, but lately the styles just haven’t been doing it for me. A lot of the clothes feel quite dull now, with similar-looking designs, odd colour choices, and boxy fits that don’t feel very flattering. It’s a shame, because I always thought the brand had a nice, easygoing feel, but now it seems to have lost a bit of what made it appealing. The website photos don’t help much either, as it’s hard to tell what the clothes will actually look like in real life. Maybe it’s just not matching my style anymore, but I don’t feel drawn to it like I used to

The prices are fair overall, though I wouldn’t complain if they were a bit cheaper — I mean, who doesn’t like saving a few extra bucks?

"Description Was a Bit Creative"
The item really wasn’t as described. I guess the listing and the actual product were just living in two different realities, which was fun to discover after ordering.

"The store just felt off"
I stopped in for a quick look around, but the vibe was uncomfortable right away. The place felt dull and a bit messy in some areas, and the music was louder than it needed to be. There were staff around, but no one seemed especially welcoming, and I didn’t get the feeling that asking customer service for help would’ve made things any better. I barely browsed before deciding to leave.

The staff were friendly and easy to deal with, which was nice. The shop itself was okay, nothing really stood out to me, but it wasn’t bad either... just kind of average overall.

I don’t know... the prices just feel a bit too high for what you actually get. I was expecting better quality for the cost, but it didn’t really feel worth it to me. Some of the items look nice online, but in person the value just isn’t there. You can probably find similar stuff for less elsewhere, so I don’t think I’ll be rushing back.

"Exchanging for another size was such a hassle"
I tried to exchange a jumper for a different size and it ended up being way more annoying than I expected. The website didn’t really make it clear what I was supposed to do, and when I contacted support they basically said something like, “just return it and place a new order,” which isn’t really an exchange at all.

After sending it back, I was left waiting ages with barely any updates. Support kept giving vague replies along the lines of “we’ll let you know once it’s processed,” but there was no simple swap option or clear timeline. For a big retailer, it felt poor, and I don’t think I’ll bother ordering from them online again.

"Sale looked better than it was"
I went on fatface.com after seeing all the sale banners and thought I’d probably find a decent bargain, but yeah... not really. The discounts on the things I actually liked were small, or the normal sizes were already gone. Then once delivery gets added on, it just doesn’t feel like much of a deal anymore. Bit annoying because the site makes it look like there’s more going on than there actually is.

"Sizing feels really unpredictable lately"
I used to get on well with fatface. Like, I knew my size, ordered it, and it was usually fine. But lately? Not so much. I’ll order my normal size and one top turns up absolutely massive, then another one is tight in the shoulders or pulls oddly somewhere it never normally would.
The jeans were the most annoying bit. Same size I’ve bought before, same sort of thing I expected to fit, but they felt completely different. Not just a little off either. And then you’re stuck doing the return, printing or packing or dropping it off, all that faff, just because the sizing seems to change from item to item.

It’s made me really wary of ordering from them online now. I still like some of their clothes, but for the price, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect the sizes to be more consistent. At the moment it feels like a bit of a gamble

I’m still waiting on my refund and the whole returns process has been really frustrating. It feels way more difficult than it should be.

I tried to pay twice, but the page just kept spinning and didn’t really tell me what was going on. Then somehow my basket emptied, which was frustrating. I’m confused by the whole thing and not sure I’d bother ordering again.

"Checkout totally killed it for me"
I was about to grab two tops on a whim, but the checkout just kept freezing when I got to payment. Then my card got declined twice, which made zero sense because it works everywhere else. I got annoyed, closed the tab, and ordered from another site instead. Super frustrating.

"Wish I’d Read the Reviews First"
Every time I find something I actually like, my size is already sold out. It’s so frustrating. I wish I’d read the reviews first because it seems like this happens a lot. Really wish they’d keep more stock available.

"Nice clothes, but the shipping put me off"
I do like FatFace clothes, and the website was straightforward to use. My order turned up without any issues, and the quality was exactly what I expected, so no complaints there.

The only thing that bothered me was the shipping cost, which felt a bit high for a small order. It kind of makes you feel ignored as a regular customer, like there’s no consideration unless you’re spending more. I’d still shop there, but probably only during a sale or if I’m buying a few things at once.

"Pretty awkward and not helpful"
I reached out to customer service about an issue with my order, i felt a bit embarrassed having to keep asking for help when the replies were so slow and barely answered anything. It kind of felt like they couldn’t be bothered. The problem still isn’t sorted, which is really frustrating.

"I had to wait a few days for..."
I had to wait a few days for customer service to reply, which was a little frustrating. From the tone of their message, I got the impression they were probably busy or backed up, so I tried not to be too annoyed. Once they did get back to me, they were helpful and got the issue fixed. Not a bad experience overall, but the response time could definitely be better.

My order was mostly what I expected, and everything looked fine overall. The only issue was that one of the shirts came in the wrong colour. The return process was okay and not too difficult, but it was still a bit annoying to deal with...
